Dr. Galagoda

Dr. Galagoda was born in California and raised in Austin, TX. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry followed by a Master’s in Medical Sciences at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. Dr. Galagoda went on to complete her medical school education at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then completed her OB/GYN residency with Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare in El Paso, TX. Dr. Galagoda moved to Houston, TX to be closer to family and is excited to be serving the Houston community as an OB/GYN physician.

Dr. Galagoda is a member of the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is passionate about providing patient centered obstetric and gynecologic care and finds joy in taking care of women throughout all stages of life. Her clinical interests include preventive well women care, birth control counseling, obstetrical care and minor gynecologic surgeries. Outside of work, Dr. Galagoda enjoys reading fantasy and mystery novels, trying new restaurants, traveling with friends and spending time with her adorable nephew and niece.
